Uniformly bound set of three late 19th-century almanacs, including the 1883 edition of the Enkhuizer almanak and an 1887 and 1891 edition of the Alkmaarder almanak. The three almanacs have been uniformly printed with the divisional title pages for the different sections being identical for each. They all include a calendar, with eclipses, tides, and dates of markets; predictions for the weather for the following year, based on the data from previous years, and the tasks of gardeners for every month; and a long, illustrated section with poems and short stories, which was a typical addition to almanacs of this time.
The wrappers of each work are slightly soiled and stained. The leaves are somewhat browned. Otherwise in good condition.
