Rare first edition of a relation of the Spanish army entry to Italy, and the peace consolidated with the great Turk (referring to the leader of the Ottoman Empire); it contains a detailed update on the events and progress of the armies, as well as news of the peace treaty signed with the Ottomans for 20 years. The prose is complicated and mostly addressed at praising the Spanish King, however still informative of the current event in Europe and the relation with the most powerful middle-eastern kingdom.
With contemporary(?) manuscript notes on p. [1], written in light brown ink in Latin, concerning "Monopolium" and other notes in the same hand and the same ink, also in Latin, on p. [7] concerning "Moneta". Further with a small manuscript annotation in dark brown ink at the head of the first page of printed text "A 5[?] de Junio de 1629 años". Otherwise a clean copy with wide margins. USTC 5027743 (4 copies); WorldCat 434043474, 78948777 (3 copies); not in Palau.
