Nicely produced and finely illustrated first and only edition of a choice selection of fables from Ovid's Metamorphoses, translated into Swedish by Jacob Reenstierna, the first published Swedish translation of any of Ovids writings. Reenstierna, the translator and editor, dedicated the book to Charlotte Piper, signing the dedication from Norkiöping, 10 December 1708.
