Separate volume of the famous Zeeland almanac teaching children the history of their province in a playful way, by means of questions and answers. Zeelands chronyk-almanach was published from 1777 to 1792, with each volume focussing on a separate aspect of Zeeland. The present volume describes the coins, which are depicted on the folding plates. It further includes the calendar, information on the tides, and the times of the closing of the gates in the various towns of the province, the dates of holidays and markets, the times of departure of the ferries, and an illustrated description of the Middelburg town hall. It also contains the fifth instalment of a chronicle of the history of Zeeland, which was published in parts in each volume.
