First edition of the second Latin translation of the annual report and letters of the Jesuits in Japan during the years 1609 - 1610, translated by Andreas Schottus. The report was written by the "Pioneer Portuguese Jesuit missionary to Japan" (Howgego), João Rodriguez (also called Giram, Giron Girao or Roiz; 1558-1633) and is addressed to Father Claudius d'Aquaviva. It deals with the events that had taken place in Japan concerning the Jesuit mission.
