Popular model book with a collection of drawing models for landscapes, especially focussing on trees, by the notable German artist and director of the Nuremberg Art Academy, Johann Daniel Preissler (1666-1737). By the time of his death in 1737, Johann Caspar Füssli spoke of Preissler as one of the two most famous Nuremberg artists of the early 18th century.
