First and only edition of a monograph on the butterflies of Madagascar by the French entomologist Paul Mabille (1835-1923). It was published as volume 18 & 19 of Grandidier's Histoire physique, naturelle et politique de Madagascar.
A very good copy, with crisp impressions on notably white paper. Nissen, ZBI 1676.
