Reissue of the revised and enlarged third edition of Tabula smaragdina, compiled by the physician Phillip Fraundorffer (ca. 1650-1702). "The book is a collection of 800 recipes taken from no less than 224 various authors" (Hagelin). It contains two prefaces, one by Fraundorffer himself and one by the reviser Johann Abraham Mercklin (1674-1720), followed by a reference list of all physicians mentioned in the text, and an extensive index.
