First edition of an important atlas with plates of columnar basalt formations by Scipione Breislak (1748-1826). The present atlas was published as an addition to Breislak's Institutiones géologiques (1818), a geological work first published in Italian titled Instituzione geologiche (Milan, 1818).
Binding slightly rubbed. Good copy.
