Very rare collection of Polish sermons by a preacher on the Polish court

Original and only edition of these two sermons against the unbelievers, apostates and heretics, in defence of the holy Roman-Catholic church by Fabian Birkowsky (1566-1636), a famous dominican priest, philosopher and professor of Theology in Krakow who has had a very extensive influence on religious and spiritual life in Poland and served as preacher on the court of King Wladislaw IV of Poland. Collections of his important sermons have been printed in successively 1620, 1624, 1628 and - the present collection of sermons - in 1632.
