First and only edition of an important and voluminous study on beetles in the Free State of Thuringia, Germany, by Otto Rapp (1878-1935). It enlists 4381 different species, also mentioning where and when they can be found. The plates show portraits and some group photo's of German entomologists and coleopterists.
