First edition of a brief work on molluscs, worms and zoophytes, by the French zoologist François Marie Daudin (1774-1803). He describes several molluscs, including four new species of worms (worm snails), giving a brief physical description in Latin, and a physical and habitat description in French. All the species are depicted on the engraved plates. Other sections contain comments on several mollusc families and the classification of molluscs.
