Charming miniature book for children, illustrated with several full-page engraved plates. The work narrates the story of two children who are bored after leaving Paris. However, their father teaches them the small pleasures that can be found in the countryside in each season, such as snowball fights, cherries, birds, butterflies, and walking along the river, until they no longer miss the city.
