With a full-page engraved frontispiece showing David playing his harp in the clouds, the title is set within a frame built up from typographical ornaments, and with music notation in the text. Further with the (woodcut) stamp of the city of Amsterdam, together with a manuscript signature of Johannes Jacobus Kessler ("J J Kessler") in brown ink, at the end of the "acte van consent" on A1v-A2r.
