Illustrated accounts of three grand public religious festivals in the Southern Netherlands. Ad 1 is a beautiful series of engravings celebrating the 1000-year jubilee of Saint Rumoldus. Ad 2 records a festival on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Blessed Sacrament, organized by the Jesuit College in Brussels. And ad 3, finally, describes the 700-year Jubilee of Saint Macarius, who aided those suffering from the plague, celebrated in Ghent.
