It opens with an introduction, followed by a section on the origin of tobacco, the medical properties attributed to smoking and snuffing tobacco. The lessons deal with different types of tobacco, pipes, cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco boxes, and how to smoke tobacco without offending women.
