Letter by one of the members of the Dutch noble family Boreel, possibly Jacob Willem Gustaaf Boreel (1852-1937). In this letter to a hitherto unknown 'Monsieur' the writer asks the addressee whether he could recommend to 'Madame' the writer's oldest son for the post of 'Maestro d'Hostel'.
