With richly engraved emblematic frontispiece with the title "Menschelyke beezigheeden" with children around the patroness of Amsterdam playing with all sorts of objects referring to the trades and professions depicted in the book and with people busy on a wharf of a harbour full of ships in the background, and a Dutch poem of 6 lines engraved underneath (158 x 101 mm), engraved printer's device on title, and 100 numbered engraved plates (ca. 120 x 80 mm) of trades and professions, engraved after the designs by Jan and Caspar Luyken, printed on leaves of 202 x 160 mm.
