With an engraved frontispiece portrait of the author, an engraved title-page in wild Baroque decorated lettering with the authors monogram and motto, with a pyramid, eye and other symbols, and the year of publication in a rebus. Further with 9 engraved folding illustration plates (A and 1-8), an engraved headpiece showing the Dresden bridge, and woodcut tailpieces and a factotum. Many of the illustration plates also use the Baroque style to comic effect. Plate A showing a bookcase and Raritäten Kabinett (often lacking), has a printed flap that opens as the door of the Kabinett.
