Vellum, spine gilt-lined with gilt flower-heads in the compartments, with gilt double-fillet borders on sides and gilt double-fillet inner panel with small gilt ornaments at the four outer-corners and the gilt central coat-of-arms of Hoorn comprising a finely designed unicorn leaning over a shield, red mottled edges, remnants of green ties.
