Album with a series of 27 original drawings designed for Poeppig's Reise in Chile, Peru und auf dem Amazonstrome wahrend der Jahre 1827-32 (Leipzig, 1835). (South-America, dated 1825-1831). Oblong large folio. Contemporary full red morocco, spine  richly gilt in 7 compartments  with title lettered in gold, front cover with title in centre ''Eduard Friedrich Poeppig drawings.
