Later on, probably in 1627, those cornerpieces are gilt and the central panels filled with gilt oval centre-pieces: one with floral motives on the back and one with a coat of arms on the front cover; in the compartment above this central panel the gilt initials 'I.W.E.A.P.' are stamped, almost certainly the owner of the book in 1627 and of the coat of arms; in the compartment below '1627' also in gilt.
