Richly illustrated with small woodcuts. 16 pp. Rare Winschoten imprint and a real primer, more a first spelling book than a reading book, nicely illustrated with woodcuts. The book starts with the vocals and the consonants, with spelling exercises and little words and sentences not beyond one syllable. All words are depicted in simple small woodcuts, showing familiar subjects from daily live. Although the book must have been popular, and used at many schools in Groningen, it nowadays is virtually unknown. On the blue printed wrappers publisher's advertisement and catalogue. Fine copy.- (Spine sl. dam.).
