Andra Uplagan, Stockholm, P.A. Huldbergs Förlag. (1849). Sm.4to. Orig. pink boards, with title within typographical borders on front and publisher's advertisement on back cover. With 2 full-page lithographed plates, finely coloured by hand. 21, (3 publisher's catalogue) pp.

Charming Swedish chapbook with one popular fairy tale about a prodigal son by Carl von Zeipel (1793-1849). The first hand-coloured plate shows a couple dancing in the mountains to the music of a flute, and the second plate shows another younger couple dancing, also to the music of a flute, but now in front of a house in the mountains, with some people watching. The publisher's catalogue at the end and on back cover lists mainly children's books and chapbooks, including an A B C picture book and a Robinson Crusoe.

Nice copy.- (Front cover loose).
