Vol. 1: (20), 200, (4); vol. 2: (8), 287, (5); vol. 3: (12), 263, (5) pp. Third edition of this fiercely anti Socinian work by the Calvinist Petrus de Witte (1622-1669), who was minister in Hoorn (1653-56) and Leiden (1656-69). The first edition was published in Delft in 1655; an enlarged second edition appeared in 1658-61 in three parts. Good copy.- (Marginal waterstaining in the first lvs.).
