First edition of this important work with contributions by distinguished Palestine explorers such as Canon Tristram, Charles Warren, M. Rogers, and notably Major Claude Reignier Conder, R.E. (1848-1910), as well as several others.
The fourth volume is completely devoted to Sinai (pp. 1-120) and Egypt (pp. 121-234). The illustrations in the parts in which Sinai is described, include a detailed map of Sinai and Egypt, views of Jebel Hammam Far'un, Jebel Kanata, the mountains at the head of Wady Leja and Jebel ed Deir.
