Invading England

[WILLIAM III, Prince of Orange].
The prince of Orange his declaration: shewing the reasons why he invades England. With a short preface, and some modest remarks.

Woodcut ornament on title.

Edinburgh, heir of Andrew Anderson, 1688. 4to. Woodcut ornament on title. 24 pp.

Rare issue of the pamphlet containing William of Orange's reasons to invade England. Erroneously attributed to Gilbert Burnet. Burnet was actually the translator of the declarations written for William of Orange by Gaspar Fagel; he was not the author of the animadverions concerning them.

Good copy.
Wing W 2332; Aldis 2828.
