The first part describes the clerics of Corsendonck and their achievements in theology and fine arts, the second part tells the history of the priory. The work is illustrated with lithographs with seals and armorial plates of Maxilimian, Charles V , etc. and are mostly produced by Glénisson and Sons, Turnhout.
