With numerous illustrations of garden architecture and ornaments on 35 full-page lithographed plates. No text. Extremely rare model book with hundreds of designs for garden furniture and garden architecture, including numerous ornamental designs for gate-work, banisters, parapets, lamp-posts, etc. etc. The book was meant for practical use for all sorts of professional craftsmen, but also for instruction at the technical schools. The title is printed on front-wrappers, and on back-wrappers the publisher's advertisement of other architectural model books is printed, both within decorative woodcut borders. Good copy.- (Old owner's name on title; sl. waterstained at outer margins).
