XVIII, 292; X, 294 pp. Third and best edition, enlarged as well in text as in plates, of an extensive manual on agricultural architecture by Johann Michael Voit (1771-1846), royal engineer and building-inspector at Augsburg. The first volume deals with the architecture and furnishing of farms, stables, farm-outhouses etc, as wll as with the architecture of agricultural industrial buildings like breweries, distilleries, tile-works, brick-yards, etc. The second volume then is entirely devoted to building materials and the construction of the buildings. Fine set.- (Only occasionally some very sl. marginal foxing).
