[No place, no publisher], 1646. 4to. Contemporary vellum. With portrait of the author by W. Delff after M. Mieris with a 6-line verse by Caspar Barlaeus. [40], 451, [3], [2 blank] pp.

Second, enlarged edition of the autobiography of Johannes Uytenbogaert (1557-1644), the influential leader of the Remonstrants. Page 161 contains some references to Witte, former burgomaster of Kampen, who fiercely opposed Uytenbogaert's theology. In some copies Witte's name has been suppressed by pasting it over with a strip of paper; the present copy is uncensored.

Upper hinges weak. Otherwise a very good copy.
