Rare work on planting, cultivating and maintaining fruit trees. The present copy is a first edition. A second edition appeared in 1655 and a third edition in 1664. The work was also issued together with another work on fruittrees by le sieur Le Gendre (pseudonym for R. Arnauld d'Andilly), Manière de cultiver les arbres fruitiers, of which the editions of 1671 and 1672 were augmented with Triquel's work.

Good copy.- (Part of vellum on frontcover and spine eaten by mice, revealing boards beneath).
