Original edition of one of the few 17th century literary bibliographies, listing authors of preliminaries, catalogues, etc,. by Antoine Teissier (1632-1715) followed by Philippe Labbé's (1607-1667) inventory of books on and collections of Greek and Roman coins and other antiquities. The present work is based on Labbe's Bibliotheca bibliothecarum, (Paris, 1664), forming a much enlarged edition of it. A supplement to Teissier's bibliography was published in Geneva, 1705.
