Early edition of the famous treatise on apparitions of ghosts, spirits, phantoms, disembodied souls etc, by Father Noel Taillepied (Normandy 1540-Angers 1589) theologist and writer. It was first published at Paris by Guillaume Bizhou in 1588 titled 'Psichologie, ou traite...' Good copy.- (Title restored; bookplate of Ludovic Halevy pasted on inside frontcover).
