With engraved vignette on the title and 47 figures on two engraved full-page plates of constellations etc. outside the text. 32 pp.

Ad 1: Fifth corrected edition of this important and extensively illustrated work on mathematics, fortification, architecture, optics, chronology and chiromancy by the famous architect and professor of mathematics and physics and rector of the University of Altorf Johannes Christoph Sturm (1669-1719). The first edition was published in Altorf in 1693, the second  and third also in Altorf in 1698 and 1703 resp. This edition was edited by his son Leonard Christoph (1669-1719).
Ad 2: Fifth edition of this work on cosmography and astronomy by Sturm. The first edition was published in 1670 in  Altorf folowed by editions by Endtner from 1684 till 1701.

Good copies. (Some browning and soiling, especially affecting the first title-page; quire C in the second work misbound).
