(8), 184 pp. Nice educational work with amusing arithmetical riddles by Arnoldus Bastiaan Strabbe (1741-1805), the founder and secretary of the Mathematical Society: "Een Onvermoeide Arbeid komt alles te Boven" (Tireless work exceeds everything) at Amsterdam and teacher of book keeping. He published several works on book keeping and mathematics and translated many mathematical and astronomical books from the French. Good copy with ms. dedication in French of the French School at Zevenbergen to H.S. van Diggelen, 14.10.1817 and owner's stamp of P.A.G. van Diggelen, Zwolle, on second fly-leaf.
