First edition of the collected works on archaeology by Kilian Stobaeus (1690-1742), physician to the Swedish King, and professor in medicine, natural history and experimental physics at Lund, who supported Linnaeus in his work, and was rewarded for this by Linnaeus' pupil Thunberg, who named the plant "stobaeus" after him.
