With large woodcut device of Sertenas on 2 titles, and Book 6 with woodcut frontispiece, verso blank, 2 large woodcuts and 13 woodcuts in text, and Book 7 with 4 large woodcuts and 17 woodcuts in text. Rare first octavo-editions of Book 6 and Book 7, both in the Sertenas-issue. In Book 7 one leaf, M2 replaced by an old blank leaf, probably done when the book was re-bound in the 18th century. Both books with a colophon, dated 1548,  in Book 7 only stating that Groulleau printed the book, and in Book 8 additionally stating that Groulleau printed the  Book for himself, for Jean Longis, and Vincent Sertenas. In both Books numerous woodcut initials are present, but some are left blank too, with printed guide-letter.

Good copy, with the armorial bookplate of Edward Davenport.- (Binding sl. rubbed; text of one leaf in Book 7 lacking; few sl. stains).
