Very rare edition of the popular collection of edifying songs, written by the 17th-century Ternaard scholemaster Jan Sikkes Ternaard and set in rhyme by 'J.G.M.' Ternaard also was the birthplace of Joannes Schrader (1721-1783), who taught History at the University of Franeker. The first edition of this work was printed in ca. 1730 and was reprinted numerous times. This current edition is not present in the Dutch Union Catalogue (NCC).
