First edition of this interesting translation of which is mentioned in the introduction that these Greek antique poems are authentic and that they are translated from the version found by Mr. Ossur in a manuscript in St. Petersburg.
Excellent nicely bound copy with bookplates of Syston Park, Eugénie & Jean Furstenberg and a red morocco gilt ex-libris of Hans Furstenberg. - (Some faint foxing at places).
