Very beautiful aquatint picture book of Paris, with titles to the plates like "Les Voitures of Versailles", "The Blind man of the Pont des Arts", "Dancers on Stilts in the Champ-Elysées", "Office of Nurses", "Porters and Fishwomen, revelling round the Statue of Henri IV", "Interior of a Swimming School", "The Catacombs", "Street Characters", "Itinerants of the Boulevards", "The Morgue", "The Juggler of the Chateau d'Eau", "The Flower  Market", "A Corps of the Garde Nationale", etc. The aquatints were originally published in parts in oblong size in 1822. The present undated edition was the third, but the first published in upright layout of the plates and text.
