One hundred French epigrams, madrigals and epitaphs and their Italian translations printed in the famous typography of the Bodoni presses on large paper. On each page 2 small French poems are printed with their Italian translation on the opposite page. The translations are by Conte Carlo Roncalli, who first published these translations in 1786 as Epigrammi Francesi colla versione Italiana.

Beautiful copy, on large paper and uncut, with the bookplates of Marcellus Schlimovic, Robert Saitschick and Victor Aizenman.
