Rare first edition of this important work on the production of sugar cane. This work, written by the Cuban scientist Alvaro Reynoso, served as a manual for sugar cane growers. The various chapters are on the growing and production of sugar cane. Matters such as which seeds and working tools you need, the required distance between the plants and the right manure are extensively described. The second edition of this work was published in Madrid in 1865, the third in Paris in 1878 and the fourth in 1925 in Havana. A French translation of this manual was published in Paris in 1865.
