First edition of the first Chronicle of the Dutch Province of Zeeland, still a very important source for its early history. Jan Janse Reijgersberch from Cortgene, whose identity is revealed in the granted privilege, moved in 1532 to Veere when Cortgene was  inundated, and he stayed there until his death in 1572. He was a  protégé of Maximilian of Burgundy, and must have had easy access  to the government files. The present first edition was already  in 1831 by De Wind called very rare.
