Popular English edition of a travel book in letters, by George Reinbeck (1766-1849), a German poet and aestheticist who worked for some twenty years as a teacher at Saint Petersburg in Russia.
Our copy was used by some traveller to Russia, as can be gathered from the ink-monogram on title, dated: S. Petersbourg, 1912, and from a few marks in the same ink in the margins- (Spine sl. dam.).
