Fifth edition of a description of the life of the popular poet, artist and church minister Dirk Rafaëlz Camphuysen (1586-1627) by Pieter Rabus (1660-1702), poet, prolific writer and preceptor at the Latin school in Rotterdam. Rabus was also chief editor of the scientific periodicals Boekzaal van Europa (1692-1700) and Tweemaandelyke Uittreksels (1701-1702).
