XXIV, 206; VIII, 291, (12) pp. First and only edition in English of a work on the natural history of Norway by Erich Pontoppidan (1698-1764), Bishop of Bergen. Including an outline of the country's history and an interesting chapter of sea monsters. The fine plates depict views, minerals, botanical and zoological subjects. Good copy.
