In onse Neerduytsche sprake overgeset, door M. Everart. Hier is bygevoecht de tafel van de treffelickste ende voornaemste saken, in dit boeck begrepen.

Popular Dutch edition of the lives of famous Greek and Roman politicians, philosophers, artists, etc. by Plutarchus, to which the lives of the military commanders by Probus are added, together with some lives taken from other sources, here nicely illustrated with woodcut illustrations of coins and medals. From time to time, the Dutch author inserts his own comparison of two lives, for instance a comparison of the lives of Hannibal and Scipio, of Cato and Aristides, etc. The book is printed in Gothic type, but the comparisons in Roman type.
