School-edition of the twenty comedies by Plautus, the text only, without notes or comments, but with the lines of the text numbered. It first was published by Frans van Raphelingen at Leyden in 1588, in the small format (ca. 11 x  7 cm) Plantin favoured for his classical texts. The book is printed in a very small Roman type, also including some Italics.
Rather used copy, with ms. list of contents on old leaf inserted at the beginning.- (Binding repaired, with new endpapers, frontcover dam. at edges, first endpaper dam., first free endpaper lost; title mounted; a few old ms. notes and underlinings in the beginning; first quires sl. loosening).
