Uylenbroek after J. Apeldoorn in two states, in proof-state and with text, 2 of Baarn, one by Maaskamp after J. de Beyer and one by Uylenbroek after De Neufville, Eemnes by W. Writs after J. de Beijer, Zeist by J. de Beijer, Laren by J.E. Graave, Nijkerk, unsigned, De Treek by Uylenbroek after J. Apeldoorn in two states, in proof-state and with text, and 8 of Amersfoort by Paul van Liender. XI, (1), 224, 11, (1), 7, (1) pp. Presentation-copy in two red morocco volumes. Bound with is a manuscript letter sent by the council of Amersfoort, signed by R.A. van Goudoever, and dated November 22, 1803, with expressions of thanks and announcing the gift by the city-council of a silver tea-plate in return for receiving a copy of the work by its author. A manuscript letter by the author is also bound in, thanking for the return gift by the Council of Amersfoort, signed by Pieter Pijpers, and dated December 1, 1803. The author probably wanted to let the receiver know how highly the book had been appreciated by the city of Amersfoort. Added: autograph letter by Father Imme to the publisher P.J. Uylenbroek, containing some critical remarks on "Eemlandsche Tempe" by P. Pijpers. Unique copy of this rare work. With exlibris of Napoleon III, emperor of France (1852-1870), son of Louis Napoleon, king of Holland (1806-1810). See Olivier, plate 2659, illustr. 15.
